B8. What would make writing on Wikipedia easier for me?
I definitely can say that I feel using Wikipedia is much easier for me than before, and I think that's because I know how to use it. The first way of making it easier to use Wikipedia is about how much I know about this. But it doesn't mean we need to know everything about how it works because it is open for people to looking at what others do and follow that. So the most important thing is how much we are eager to learn and improve this Wikipedia world, because if we have will, we can certainly do what we want to do by asking around for help. I can tell by experiences that there are so many people out there in Wikipedia to help others. Also, being interested in what's happening in the world would help to make it easier to write on Wikipedia. This is a sum of human knowledge which means we share what we know. The more we know, the more we can put into this world.

W7. Why Free Culture matters?
free culture means anybody can participate in and create. I think it is one of collective intelligence in other meaning of Wikipedia. Wiki can make participation of people. but, Strictly saying, the way to be operated wiki is little different other collective intelligence. the concept that Anybody can edits all articles is really innovative and fair but because of easy accessibility, it is structure which would be leaned one-side in selecting issue. most of articles are still weak. Collective intelligence in company, People try to make various, elaborate, wealthy information to success their projects. of cause they have enormous funds. the key point is they have clear goal, there is direction led to want to go, and they exert themselves to build data finely and fast. Free Culture is good for everyone. the more important thing is remember continuously the reason why we start, and what we want to do.

W7. Why Free Culture matters?
According to Wikipedia, Free Culture (Movement) is a kind of freedom to distribute and modify creative works in the form of 'free content' by using the Internet and other forms of media. So Free Culture activists dissent from the copyright law. So these positions always cause controversy. Because their justice doesn't coincide with the existing law (that is a copyright law). So Free Culture might be illegal. But I think Free Culture is necessary. Because I think that Free Culture relates to the right to know. I don't have a professional law knowledge. But I know everyone has the right to know. I think Free Culture satisfy our desires to know. So I think Free Culture should be necessary our lives though it is against our current law.

W7. Why Free Culture matters?
I think Free Culture can encourage people to participate in the culture. Anyone can have a right to use and share anything, so the quality of the contents in Free Culture maybe can be lower. But the contents also can be edited and restructured by everyone. So, the more people can participate in the culture, the more chances to improve and develop contents are given. I think Free Culture works in this way.
In Free Culture, There is no information redlining. People are able to get information which they want to know, regardless of their age, sex, race, academic ability and so on. However, we may get too much information to manage it. It means that indiscriminate information that is not confirmed can be distributed. So, we have to try to distinguish contents and information with an insight.

W7 Why Free Culture Matters?
'We all can make, edit and share. I think that's the biggest change which made free culture.
With understanding 'remix', the time is getting closer and closer when everything is from everything which means there wouldn't be anything new. When that time arrives, what's the point of owing and having them priced which will never be bought?'
This one above is what I wrote in last semester. I focused on sharing things so that we can change and develop more. This time I want to think how 'free culture' actually can benefit people. There was a guy who wanted to share his academic knowledge with his friends and people, so he made a website which anybody come and study more. Other people who experienced the website started to open what they have, and the website is getting bigger and bigger, and nicer and nicer to everybody. I think in this world, we have a gap for the rich and the poor. It kinds of limits what we can learn by what we got from our parents, but if we use this free culture for education, I think more and more people can learn no matter where they live and how much money they have. It can make the world more equal.

w6.How important is it to be civil online on the Internet?
Thanks to internet, we are freer than before. we can search curious things using laptop or phone just with few minutes. With internet, we can make more creative products and it is easier to approach information more and more. If you can't find people who agree with my opinion off-line, you can just upload on-line community where you are able to communicate freely on the internet. On-line, it is realized that chat to people living on the other side of the earth. Any one has capacity to insist what he think regardless age.
Although it is freer than off- line, there is inequality between users on-line. So, even on-line is civil world, we can feel that it's not in freedom. Sometimes someone operates our access of on-line for political or other reasons. We need to have doubts to improve our skill to face the world.

W6. How important is it to be civil online on the Internet?
I think online activities must be going to become collaborative in any way. Online users cannot ignore other users. Internet is another society where people can share their opinions or even their daily life. And people expect to receive help by asking questions or searching information. The information on Internet is given from other Internet users. That's why being civil is important. While using Internet, we have to interact with others. If we are not civil online, the internet environment can be damaged and it is not easy to work collaboratively. Being civil is important especially for collective intelligence like Wikipedia. People should be able to express their opinions openly, and respectful reactions can encourage more active discussions. I think this attitude can be an important point to keep online community.

W6. How important is it to be civil online on the Internet?
We always meet a large amount of people in the imaginary world what we called "the Internet". We usually can't see their shape. They just exist their imaginary name(like user name, ID), and their actions (like comment, or mention...). And we also be showed about ourselves like that to other Internet users. So we always don't have enough information to others. So we need to be civil to consider this situation. If we have come into conflict with other people in the Internet, it is hard to resolve the problem. So conflict will accumulate and the Internet world will fall into confusion soon. And sometimes this problems come out the real world. Some conflicts can be the real crime. Of course, I give the extreme example. But it happens quite frequently. So we should be careful using the Internet.
W6. Can we trust Wikipedia?
I think we can trust Wikipedia when we have many conformable sources on Wikipedia articles. As we learned in class, Wikipedia is not perfect and complete. The information on Wikipedia can be changed and can be discussed anytime, and maybe it will happen forever. This aspect of Wikipedia is positive, but it also can be a negative side of Wikipedia. The purpose of all information on Wikipedia is not to suggest "truth", so Wikipedia can have personal opinions and bias. The sources that are added on articles are for just verifiability, not for neutrality. So as there is a saying that "Wikipedia is a good place to start, but a bad place to finish.", we must not just accept the information on Wikipedia. To trust Wikipedia, we have to check whether the references on articles are reliable or not, also we should try to distinguish facts from opinions.

B6 The thing that I worry
The thing that I worry is that I might not be able to double check the information on Wiki and get the incorrect information or references. However I've learned how the references work on Wikipedia, so I am more less confidence of using the information correctly. Also I think I need to remember that Wikipedia is the first place to search, not a place to finish.
I was also worried if I put the wrong information by any chance, but I realized the power of collective intelligence and I trust it. It might take longer than I expect sometimes, but I am sure somebody would correct what I edit/put if it's wrong although it doesn't meant I don't have to be irresponsible of what I upload. The good thing is Wikipedia is open to any discussions and it makes Wikipedia richer and healthier.

w5. the thing what I worry.
sometimes I talk about wiki with my friends. whenever discuss with my friends, they say that they can not trust wiki. because many people can upload the data and adjust whatever. actually I agree this opinion. as dalbit mentioned, occasionally wiki used tools of instigation. also, whoever can add information means they may not be professional. many articles missed references. we would better discuss how to restore reliability of wiki

W5. Surprising things on Wikipedia
I am surprised there is a lot of information, and also there are a lot of people on Wikipedia. Many people see my edits. They change and improve the articles. I was amazed that my edits was improved even I edited them just a few minutes ago. As Linus's Law that we learned in class, more people can participate in editing, more information get valuable, I think. Another thing that I am surprised is people have their own interesting areas. Each person has particular areas in which they want to edit or add on Wikipedia. They do not have to be experts and they are not. Participants on Wikipedia don't have to make knowledge, but they read and study information on original sources and introduce the knowledge with references. So the information on Wikipedia has a lot of original sources and it has to be. It can be the sum of all knowledge as more people volunteer for it. And I am also surprised that wikipedians are wiling to accept other's advice and to talk or discuss their edits.

W5. Can we trust Wikipedia?
When I edit Wikipedia, I always put the reference on it as soon as possible. I think that putting a reference is giving the trust to Wikipedia's users. When they check the reliable reference, they might think 'this article is quite reliable!'. But we shouldn't exclude the case that someone could make a mistake paraphrasing. And someone add his/her subjective thinking unconsciously. And they might be add plausible gossip calculatedly. So we always need to talk and think about our collective knowledge. Wikipedia has a good system about that. So I Think the knowledge in the Wikipedia quite reliable.
