W11. After watching 'Laws that choke creativity' by Lawrence Lessig

I could not understand all, but I think that in this video he said laws hinder enjoyment of contents. Laws have traditions and want to keep them. But the manners of enjoyment of culture have changed, and this can differ with laws. As said in this video, culture compatible with laws is a communication from the top down. Laws allow people to just accept the contents from media. In the past, technologies making contents were specialized, but now most technologies are democratized. So anyone can create contents when they want and what they want although they are not experts. I think recreating original contents with new creativity is amazing thing regardless of copyright issue. I also agree with his mention about amateur culture. It does not mean immature but it means free and pure enjoyment. I am impressed with the saying “for the love, not for the money”.
