W13. Good Copy Bad Copy

As you Know, I was absent from class last week. Because I was sick. So I couldn't watch this documentary, But I found the video at YOUTUBE.
(link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WEKl5I_Q044 HERE!)
My favorite music genre is Hip-hop music. So sometimes I saw some ugly plagiarism controversy.

like this case ☞ http://kpopdecoder.com/2013/11/06/caro-emerald-finally-spoke-full-text-delving-primarys-i-got-c-plagiarism-controversy/

This case was that A famous Korean producer aroused controversy about plagiarism.
I know that the boundary between plagiarism and sampling is very vague. But I've been shocked after this problem. I trusted his music wholeheartedly. All of his fans did that way ,too. But this case has seriously damaged the credibility of his discography. I still don't know it was plagiarism or  sampling. But I have a bad feeling about his music.

I think Bad copy is come from producer's mind. If he stated clearly it was sampling. It would't be the problem.

  1. I wonder the meaning of your saying that "music is wholehearted". And why do you have a bad feeling about his music? Why do you think that his music is Bad Copy?

    1. I saw your comment now. First, the reason that I used this word, "wholeheartedly" is that I've listened Primary's music without doubt. A song made by Primary, I listened that music unconditionally. But when I heard he did the ugly plagiarism, I was so disappointed and I started to doubt his music. "It might be bad copy song..." like this. So I felt bad about his music. And the fact that he did the Bad copy wasn't decided by me. He admitted his plagiarism.

    2. I think that we cannot judge what is bad copy or good copy even though the person who copied contents admitted that.
